The (almost perpetual) sunshine in Tucson definitely made a difference, but on the rare days when it's gloomy I notice that my dog, Frankie, seems gloomy too. We (well, not Frankie because he isn't all that eco-conscious) are supposed to welcome the rain in the desert, and I do -- in theory. But it nevertheless affects us both. Inconceivable!! everyday for that dog is sunshine and roses! Know what she's getting for dinner right now? Human Grade venison hamburger! My Dad's friend cleaned out his freezer and found some meat that he didn't want. Score for Jersey!!<br><br>But I do notice on walks that she's not as "frisky", I'm sure that the weather has something to do with it. We all slow down a little bit in the winter, it's just so depressing with the lack of sun and cold temperatures. Maybe I *need* to take Jersey to Florida, you know, for her own good health! Jersey?
