We humans are not the only mammal that can get cavities. Our furry little friends can be susceptible to cavities too.

One of the best things you can do to keep your dog’s teeth healthy is to give him or her a raw meaty bone to chew on a few times a week. You may also want to consider brushing your dog’s teeth to help keep them clean and healthy.

CAN I USE HUMAN TOOTHPASTE ON MY DOGS TEETH?

That would be too easy now woudn’t it? Human toothpaste is not edible, which is why we spit it out when we brush our teeth. Our dogs on the other hand will swallow whatever they can, especially if it tastes good. For this reason. a dog’s teeth cannot be brushed with human toothpaste. So you’ll either need to visit the pet store to buy some doggy toothpaste, or, you could make your own.
